Developers of veterinary pharmaceuticals with innovative modes of action, new groups of active substances or novel ways of delivery are often meeting special challenges when it comes to finding a development strategy. A lack of established routines and regulatory guidelines leads to uncertainties how to progress the development of the individual novel therapeutic.

This seminar will address these challenges from formulation development through preclinical and clinical trials to obtaining a marketing authorization. A variety of external speakers that have to face these problems in their daily life, e.g. as leaders of innovative start-up or established companies, regulatory authorities, preclinical and clinical researchers or business development service providers, will talk about their approaches, experiences, and roads to success.

Both seminar days will end with a plenary discussion, giving all participants a platform to address questions and develop ideas together with the invited experts. The networking dinner will allow for further exchange of ideas between participants and speakers in an informal atmosphere.
